President Obama signed into law the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009.

10/03/08 Tax Law Update

President Bush signed into law Public Law 110-343.  This act had three divisions, the Emergency Economic Stabilization Act of 2008, the Energy Improvement and Extension Act of 2008, and the Tax Extenders and Alternative Minimum Tax Relief Act of 2008.  Included in the extender division of the act were the Paul Wellstone and Pete Domenici Mental Health Parity and Addiction Equity Act of 2008, and the Heartland Disaster Tax Relief Act of 2008.
